In the relaxed western suburbs of Adelaide, our clients were seeking a solution to a common challenge: they needed more space—but without the cost of building out or up.
Their dream was to create a peaceful retreat for the parents of young children. A place to relax, recharge, and enjoy a bit of calm away from the busy family hub. Our solution? A clever custom home renovation that reimagined the layout of their existing home.
Garage-to-Master Retreat Transformation
We converted the underused garage into a luxurious master suite, designed with both comfort and functionality in mind. This transformation included:
A beautiful master bedroom featuring custom joinery in a warm white and timber palette
A generous walk-in wardrobe with brass accents that tie seamlessly into the ensuite
A sophisticated ensuite bathroom, showcasing deep navy tiles, high-contrast white grout, and stunning brass fittings
The ensuite’s bold blue and brass colour scheme brings a touch of drama and elegance, while the joinery throughout creates cohesion and practical storage that’s tailored to our clients’ needs.

Matching Style with Function
To ensure the home remained functional for a busy family, we also designed and constructed a custom carport at the front of the property. The carport was thoughtfully designed to match the existing home, enhancing its curb appeal while maintaining off-street parking.
Thoughtful Finishes and Cohesive Design
The joinery details truly elevate this project, bringing both elegance and cohesion to the new spaces. By using a consistent white and timber colour scheme across the bedroom and wardrobe, and incorporating brass accents throughout, we were able to create a sense of flow and calm. Every element was tailored to suit the client’s needs, resulting in a master suite that feels luxurious, considered, and completely custom.
