Finch Barclay
This 1950s home has recently been renovated into a custom home to perfectly accommodate our clients, a family with two young children and their dog. In addition to modernising the aesthetics, we made slight alterations to the floor plan, transforming the old kitchen into a walk-in butler’s pantry for increased functionality. We also combined the kitchen, dining, and lounge areas into an open-concept design. The updated layout allows natural light to flood the home, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor spaces.
The neutral palette of this kitchen is enlivened with a textured splash back and a pop of creative color on the island base, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere where our clients can make lasting memories for years to come!
“From start to finish, we truly felt like a valued customer with Finch Constructions. Their commitment to face-to-face time throughout the entire process was incredible, especially considering how busy they are with other projects. They took the time to guide us through every step—helping with tile selections, kitchen layout planning, and even physically stepping through the space, considering things like fridge placements. As first-time renovators, this hands-on approach was invaluable and reassuring.
By the time the project was completed, we had a clear vision of what to expect, but the quality of work surpassed our expectations. Over a year later, we’re still thrilled with our renovation. The attention to detail and high-quality finishes are exactly what we hoped for. Finch Constructions delivered on time, on budget, and with exceptional communication. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a builder who values quality and customer care.” – Rachel & Paul
