Project Overview
This Nailsworth bungalow renovation was all about transformation — turning a once-tired home into a bright, modern retreat tailored for a growing family with teenagers. Finch Constructions managed the entire journey from initial design to final build, creating a functional and beautiful home, all while the family lived on site.
The Client Brief
The original home had served its purpose, but it was no longer working for a family with teenagers under one roof. The brief was to:
- Create more space and flow
- Add a second bathroom
- Include a flexible room for study, guests, or future use
- Improve connection between shared and private zones
- Update the exterior for a more modern feel
All within a practical, realistic budget.
Our Design and Build Approach
This was a full design and construct project. From the initial consultation through to completion, we worked closely with the clients to:
